Whilst Rockstar's latest financial report isn't all joy, especially the delay of the new Elder Scrolls game, it did reveal that a couple of brand new titles from the popular publisher are en route to Sony's PSP handheld. More over, one of these titles will be a new outing in the chart-topping GTA series. GTA's PSP debut is currently riding high in the charts, and Liberty City Stories is also garnering the kind of critical acclaim that helps guarantee a sequel. Quite what the theme of the next GTA-PSP game will be is anyone's guess, but if it is based on a PS2 title like Liberty City then we could be looking forward to a Vice City Stories in the future.
Both of the two new PSP games mooted will be released in 2006, which is a pretty broad release frame at present, and no details were published on the second title - which is an utter mystery. Another Midnight Club outing on the handheld format perhaps? A Bully port? How about Manhunt on the go for sir? Only time will tell, what is certain is that third-party publishers are increasingly keen on Sony's handheld, which seems to grow in strength on a weekly basis. More as we get it.
